Ara Aivazyan Meets with Sergey Lavrov

On November 21, during the visit of the Russian interdepartmental delegation to Armenia, a meeting took place between Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Aivazyan and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

Welcoming the members of the delegation, Minister Aivazyan emphasized the importance of Armenian-Russian allied relations in maintaining peace and stability in the region, especially in recent times.

The minister stated that recent developments have also significantly changed the perception of regional stability and security.

Continuing from their recent phone conversation, the foreign ministers of Armenia and Russia exchanged views on several issues related to the bilateral and regional agenda.

The foreign ministers of Armenia and Russia highlighted the importance of maintaining the dynamics and intensity of dialogue at various levels, including through reciprocal visits.

Minister Aivazyan accepted Minister Lavrov's invitation for an upcoming working visit to Moscow.
