A Group of Volunteers Brings Dogs and Cats from Abandoned Areas of Karvachar to Yerevan
On November 20, a group of volunteers set out for Karvachar to bring back dogs and cats that their owners left behind when evacuating the area. The animals were unwilling to leave their homes and were all, without exception, incredibly frightened. This information was reported by the DINGO Team on their Facebook page.
A total of 35 dogs and 8 cats were brought to Yerevan. We thank the Stray Animals Center for spaying 17 dogs. They are currently housed at the center, waiting for their spaying appointments. The cats are at Oscar Vet Vetclinic, awaiting their spaying procedures as well. The rest of the dogs and puppies are in various temporary shelters.
With your help, we need to do everything possible to find homes for all the dogs and cats. Among the animals were some quite old and sick ones, which will be transferred and take permanent residence with us. On Sunday, November 22, the volunteers will go again to bring more animals.
Thank you to all the volunteers who took on this challenging task: Gohar Manushakyan Chalyan, Hrant Davoyan, Ruzik Gasparyan, Marina Gevorgyan, Kristina Gevorgyan, Karina La.
