Former Chief of Staff Ara Saghatelyan Arrested

Former Chief of Staff of the National Assembly, Ara Saghatelyan, has been arrested, and currently, investigative actions are being carried out with his participation, reports Pastinfo.

In a conversation with Pastinfo, Saghatelyan's lawyer, Hakob Yenokyan, stated that according to the arrest report, Saghatelyan was detained on suspicion of violating Article 225.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, relating to organizing gatherings in violation of the established procedure. Ara Saghatelyan denies the accusations.
