Changes in Traffic Organization on Ashtarak Highway

In order to improve traffic safety and prevent road transport incidents, changes will be made to traffic organization on the Ashtarak Highway in Yerevan on November 21, 2020. This will take place at the pedestrian crossing section approaching the "Vahagni" district, which is currently uncontrolled.

As a result of this change, a traffic light operating in "pedestrian call" mode will be installed at the aforementioned uncontrolled pedestrian crossing. The movement of vehicles and pedestrians in this section will henceforth be regulated by traffic light signals, bringing order to pedestrian crossings with the need for pedestrian intervention.
