Russian Aviation Conducts Additional 20 Flights in One Day to Transport Peacekeepers to Nagorno-Karabakh
Russian military transport aircraft carried out 20 flights from the Ulyanovsk-Vostochny airport in the last day, using Il-76 and An-124 "Ruslan" planes, transporting units of the 15th peacekeeping brigade to Nagorno-Karabakh. Over 30 vehicles of various types have been delivered to Armenia.
This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“More than 30 vehicles and special equipment have been brought to Armenia, including armored vehicles, high-mobility trucks, as well as material and technical support equipment,” the statement said.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russia's observation posts have been deployed along the contact line of Nagorno-Karabakh and the Lachin corridor connecting Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. The command of the peacekeeping operation has been established in Stepanakert.
