Lavrov to Discuss Nagorno-Karabakh with Iranian Foreign Minister: Zakharova
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif will discuss Nagorno-Karabakh during their upcoming meeting in Moscow, as well as the situation surrounding the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan (JCPOA). This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a weekly briefing.
“On November 23, the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry will visit Moscow for further negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. It is expected that they will continue exchanging views on several international issues, including the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, the Iranian nuclear program regarding the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan, and the situations in Syria, Afghanistan, and the Persian Gulf region,” Zakharova stated, adding that the ministers will also discuss bilateral agenda.
