Car Collision Results in Two Fatalities and One Injury

On November 19, at 19:16, the Kotayk regional crisis management center received a call reporting a traffic accident on the 21st km of the Yerevan-Sevan highway involving casualties.

A rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a collision occurred between a Nissan Altima (driver: Hovhannes G., born in 1992) and an Opel Astra G (driver: Zaven G., born in 1994), resulting in the immediate deaths of both drivers.

The passenger from the Nissan Altima, Martun M., was hospitalized at the Abovyan Medical Center. The rescuers disconnected the vehicles, turned off the gas tank valves, and retrieved the drivers' bodies from the cars to transfer them to the ambulance.
