Aurora Clarifies Humanitarian Assistance Procedures for Residents of Artsakh

The Aurora international humanitarian initiative continues to clarify the procedures and criteria for providing humanitarian assistance to residents of Artsakh who have been affected during the war and are currently located in Artsakh or Armenia. This was reported by the public relations department of the IDeA Foundation.

“We remind that the submission of project applications to [email protected] has been open since November 18, and during this period, over 130 applications have already been received. Five projects have already been approved, and funding has begun for them totaling $30,050. At this stage, Aurora has decided to support applications received from charitable, state, and non-governmental organizations working on the ground that are providing assistance to residents of Armenia and Artsakh,” the statement said.

Aurora is also clarifying changes made to the assistance program for residents of seven villages in the Martakert region of Artsakh, who had to leave their homes immediately. In this regard, a decision has been made to accommodate them directly in the Martakert region of Artsakh, and a coordinated support of $10,000 will be directed not to solving transportation and logistics issues but to vital humanitarian assistance, the types of which are currently being clarified.

Newly approved projects that directly support the population of Artsakh will be announced by the end of November 20. The submission of applications continues at the electronic address [email protected],” the report added.
