Archbishop Sepho Chulchyan of Gugark Diocese Passes Away Due to COVID-19

With deep sorrow, we report that on the morning of November 19, Archbishop Sepho Chulchyan, the head of the Gugark Diocese and a member of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, passed away due to complications from COVID-19.

The Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Karekin II, along with the Brotherhood of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, mourns the untimely death of the late Archbishop Sepho.

The departure of the Holy Father is a great loss for the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, the Gugark Diocese, and its faithful children.
