Leave Process for Soldiers Serving in Artsakh to Be Implemented in December, Tonoyan

On November 18, Armenia's Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan met with the families of soldiers who participated in the Artsakh war and whose whereabouts remain unknown.

The Minister of Defense informed the relatives of the servicemen that search operations continue in the areas where military actions took place, and representatives of the Armed Forces are collecting data in coordination with relevant agencies.

Davit Tonoyan also informed the families that representatives of the Russian peacekeeping forces stationed in Artsakh and the ICRC are actively involved in the search operations, with support from the Artsakh emergency management service.

Tonoyan noted that in certain areas, the work has been completed, and search teams continue their mission in new territories.

Regarding the leave of soldiers continuing their service in Artsakh, the defense chief emphasized that the leave process will be implemented in December, when issues concerning the protection of Artsakh's borders will be finalized.
