Joint Working Group Established by the Governments of Armenia and Artsakh
A joint working group has been established by the governments of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh to respond to the humanitarian disaster that has arisen in Artsakh. This was announced following a decision by the Prime Minister of Armenia, published on the official website of the executive body.
According to the decision, the working group is created to address the humanitarian disaster resulting from the Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression and the war unleashed on September 27, 2020. Its goals include restoring civilian infrastructure, ensuring normal life in Artsakh, and facilitating the safe and dignified return of displaced persons.
The areas of focus for the working group are defined as follows: 1) social sector; 2) education sector; 3) healthcare sector; 4) business sector; 5) infrastructure sector.
The head of the working group is Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan. The group consists of several high-ranking officials from both Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh, including Artsakh's State Minister Grigori Martirosyan.
