Armen Sarkissian Awards Crew of Downed Russian Helicopter with Combat Service Medal

The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has signed a decision to award the Combat Service Medal. This decision is based on the recommendation of the Prime Minister and in accordance with Article 136 of the Constitution, as well as Part 1 of Article 5.3 of the Law on State Awards and Honorable Titles of the Republic of Armenia.

For their courage and dedication displayed while performing their official duties, the following servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are awarded the Combat Service Medal:

• Yuri Viktorovich ISCHYUKIN, commander of the helicopter squadron, major (posthumously)
• Roman Vasilyevich FEDIN, senior technical instructor of the helicopter squadron, senior lieutenant (posthumously)
• Vladislav Sergeyevich GRYAZIN, pilot-operator of the helicopter squadron, senior lieutenant.
