Threats to Take Life Against MP for Criticizing Pashinyan's Statement: Appeals to Human Rights Defender
A member of the ruling 'My Step' faction of the National Assembly has reported threats to his life following a political statement criticizing Prime Minister Pashinyan's remarks. The MP claims that he has started receiving threats, including those aimed at taking away his life. This was announced by the Human Rights Defender, Arman Tatoyan, in a Facebook post.
He stated: 'I strongly condemn this dangerous phenomenon. The police must take immediate measures to ensure the personal protection of the Member of Parliament. I will immediately provide the MP's details to the Police. The issues concerning the personal safety of MPs will be under my direct attention and control, utilizing the maximum possible legal status of the Human Rights Defender.'
