Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister, posted a video on her Facebook page, stating that their squad continues to hold the position that has been entrusted to them. In the video shot from a combat position, Anna Hakobyan mentions that she has been informed that people in Yerevan are looking for her these days.

“It was entrusted to us to monitor the valley from which enemy diversants could potentially infiltrate our territory. We were tasked with guarding this area and neutralizing any threats if necessary. I know there has been much discussion about why I volunteered to defend my homeland, whether it is appropriate for a woman or whether the Prime Minister's wife has other duties to attend to. Now is the time to seek answers regarding why we felt the need to take this step,” she said.

The Prime Minister's wife also noted that they, like other volunteers, will return after the designated period, and upon their return, the squad will be reinforced and will receive more professional training.
