VIDEO: Continuation of War Would Lead to Greater Human and Territorial Losses, Says Artsakh President

Today, I met with the factions of the National Assembly of Artsakh. We discussed the current military-political situation and the provisions of the trilateral statement. This was reported on the Facebook page of Artsakh President Araik Harutyunyan.

“I once again reaffirmed that I have also appealed to the Prime Minister of Armenia to exert efforts to cease hostilities. This decision was made considering the military situation, as the command of the armed forces insisted on its necessity. We faced certain serious challenges, under conditions where the continuation of the war would lead to greater human and territorial losses, including the fall of Stepanakert, the encirclement of other cities, villages, and thousands of servicemen,” he wrote.
