Traffic Accident Near Nubarashen Highway Leaves One Vehicle Overturned, Casualties Reported

On November 13, at 09:42, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a traffic accident near the Nubarashen highway landfill in Yerevan, with multiple injuries.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, a firefighting rescue team was dispatched to the scene from the Yerevan Rescue Department.

It was determined that two vehicles, a "Toyota Prado" (driver: Vardan H., born in 1991) and an "Opel Zafira," had collided, causing the latter to veer off the roadway and roll down a ravine.

Before the rescuers arrived, two injured individuals were hospitalized at "Erebuni" Medical Center. Emergency responders retrieved two bodies from the ravine and assisted four injured individuals into ambulances, disabled the vehicles, and closed the gas valves.

Medical personnel assessed the condition of passengers Alina I. (born in 1980), Karen H. (born in 1994), and Kristine P. (born in 1984) as serious, while Vardan H. (born in 1991) was rated as satisfactory. Anna M. (born in 1984) declined medical assistance and discharged herself, while Davit M. (born in 2016) was transferred from "Erebuni" Medical Center to "Holy Mother of God" Medical Center.
