Mobilization Plans Do Not Align with Our Reality; The System Requires Serious Revisions - Nikol Pashinyan
We have a challenge regarding mobilization resources to support the military, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during an interview on First Channel, adding that the system needs serious revisions.
According to him, we must seriously consider changes to our military supplies and structure. He stated, “During the war, for example, the new supply system for food fully justified itself. There were also other organizational shortcomings, particularly in the context of mobilization.”
“Mobilization plans do not correspond to our reality. However, the existing mobilization plans are traditional. There has been no practical application on this scale before, and previous gaps did not surface; we were led to believe it worked. The war showed that special-purpose mobile groups in the army are more important. This is the next reform in the army that has been taking place since 2018, which was planned and launched in mid-2019,” Pashinyan noted.
