I Hope All Missing Persons' Fates Will Be Determined as Soon as Possible: Artak Beglaryan
Today, the process of exchanging the bodies of the deceased has begun under the coordination of the Russian peacekeeping mission, with the participation of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the State Emergency Service of the Republic of Artsakh. This information was shared on the Facebook page of Artsakh's Human Rights Defender, Artak Beglaryan.
“The office of the Human Rights Defender has made its modest contribution to the preliminary collection and processing of data and ensuring effective and rapid communication between the entities involved in the process. I am happy that there are already successes, and a certain number of bodies have been retrieved from some areas near Shushi. I hope that all missing persons' fates will be determined as soon as possible and that they, or at least their remains, will reach their relatives. Again, I express my solidarity with all the families of the deceased and assure them that their loved ones are also my relatives, their pain is also my pain, their pride is also my pride. We must all be strong and continue the work left unfinished by our martyrs in memory of them and for the eternal existence of our Homeland,” he wrote.
