Exchange of Bodies of Soldiers Killed During the War Takes Place
In a joint initiative spearheaded by the Russian peacekeeping forces and the International Committee of the Red Cross present in Artsakh, along with the active participation of the Artsakh Emergency Situations Ministry, an exchange of the bodies of soldiers killed during the war took place today.
General-Major Karen Sargsyan, the director of the Emergency Situations Ministry, emphasized the importance of this mission for both parties, highlighting that the service is ready to engage in any humanitarian efforts.
In the afternoon, several rescue teams provided direct assistance in the search for and exchange of remains. The humanitarian work of the rescuers was coordinated on-site by Karen Sargsyan, in cooperation with the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces and the responsible officials of the ICRC mission.
