"Transport Routes to Syunik via Nakhchivan Must Be Unblocked," Says Prime Minister

During a message today, the Prime Minister of Armenia addressed the content of the signed document, stating that it is indeed unfavorable for us. "But we should not worsen it more than it actually is. In particular, there are rumors about handing over Meghri, which is absolutely absurd; the discussion is merely about unblocking the transport routes in the region, including from Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan. However, this also means that the transport routes from Yerevan to Syunik via Nakhchivan must be unblocked, including the railway connection between Armenia and Iran, which could have significant importance for the further development of our country's economy," said Nikol Pashinyan.
