Some Residents of Karvachar Have No Desire to Leave, While Others Are Positioned
Tigran Abrahamyan, a former advisor on security issues to the former President of Artsakh, has stated:
"Nikol, with the document you signed, you are handing over Karvachar on November 15. I want to tell you that I was there yesterday. I met with many people, from businessmen to those engaged in agriculture. I won't mention what they said about you, the curses directed at you. However, amidst this disaster, I was confronted with a question. They asked me if the signatory of the document is aware that we have problems with relocating our possessions, and that even if we leave, what will we do with what we have here? Some have absolutely no desire to leave at all. Meanwhile, others who will be leaving on the 15th are on the front lines; even if they wished to, they wouldn't be able to save their belongings.
By the way, if some of those in the surrendered territories leave and later face any slight loss…
PS: I was also in Dadivank yesterday; it was crowded, and people were emotional. Perhaps they initially came to say goodbye to our sacred site, but in reality, I did not see them considering themselves defeated. Instead, I observed a greater will to fight than to surrender among them."
