Russian Peacekeepers Arrive in Stepanakert

Russian peacekeeping units have begun to address the issues related to the implementation of the agreements on the cessation of fire and hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. As reported by Armenpress, citing RIA Novosti, this was announced during a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov.

"The ceasefire regime is being maintained along the entire contact line. The peacekeeping battalion of the 15th separate motorized rifle brigade entered the city of Stepanakert at 17:00," he stated.
