Nikol Pashinyan and Vladimir Putin Held Phone Conversation Yesterday
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov believes that the agreements reached regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue will be upheld by the parties involved. He expressed this view in an interview with the media.
“If we do everything we agreed upon, and I still do not see any signs that someone is trying to violate the agreement, everyone will benefit. We are in contact with our Armenian colleagues – yesterday, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and today I spoke with Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. I am confident that the Armenian government understands the degree of its responsibility, understands that this was signed in consideration of its nation’s interests, and I hope that the integrity of this agreement will be maintained and implemented,” said Lavrov.
He also mentioned that the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister has assured him in a conversation yesterday, and today the Armenian Foreign Minister did the same, confirming their commitment to the OSCE Minsk Group.
