Head of Artsakh Security Office Submits Resignation Request
I have submitted a request to the Secretary of the Artsakh Security Council to be relieved of my duties as the head of the Security Office, a position I have held since July 20 of this year. This was announced by the head of the Artsakh Security Office, Gagik Nazlukhanyan.
“This decision is based on my political views, which emphasize remaining true to the promises made to the people who entrusted us with a vote of confidence, conducting exclusively national activities throughout my professional career, and serving the stable development of the country.
In order to ensure the normal functioning of the Artsakh Security Council and the Secretary of the Council, the Artsakh Security Office was developing strategic approaches to sectoral reforms in the field of national security within the framework of its mandated powers, some of which were discussed and approved at Security Council meetings.
Throughout my professional activity, I have been guided by the ideology of my political team, led by Samvel Babayan of the ‘United Homeland’ party, state-mindedness, and the principle of unity.
I express my gratitude to the Secretary of the Artsakh Security Council, Samvel Babayan, for his trust, and to the staff of the Security Office for our joint efforts.”
