Canada Acknowledges Ceasefire Regime in Nagorno-Karabakh

Canada has acknowledged the establishment of a ceasefire regime in Nagorno-Karabakh. We are working with our international partners to study the terms and implications of this agreement, stated Canadian Foreign Minister François-Philippe Champagne.

“We expect Azerbaijan to unfailingly uphold its commitments, and military operations should cease forever and immediately. As we have already stated, Turkey should not interfere in this conflict.

I have been in constant contact with the Armenian Foreign Minister to clarify how Canada can continue to support the Armenian people during this very challenging time, to whom we have strong human ties,” the Canadian Foreign Minister added.
