WRed
The General Jurisdiction Court of Yerevan has ruled that the detention of Arthur Vanetsyan, the head of the 'Fatherland' party, was unlawful. Vanetsyan, who is a former director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia and a major general, has been released from custody. This news was reported on Facebook by Vanetsyan's lawyer, Lusine Sahakyan.
“We hope that other judges, like Artush Gabrielyan, will remain loyal to their oath and will be guided solely by the law, and will not support the process of surrendering the Fatherland,” she wrote.
