That Decision Was an Extreme Necessity: Onik Gasparyan

“The Prime Minister made this decision upon my proposal, also taking into account the results of a multifaceted assessment of the situation. That decision was an extreme necessity,” said the Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Onik Gasparyan, in an interview with First News.

He noted that not implementing that decision could have led to irreversible losses.

“This is clear and any speculation on this issue is unacceptable,” Onik Gasparyan stated.
