Parliamentary Council Meeting Fails Again Due to Absence of 'My Step' Representatives: Tonoyan
The Parliamentary Council meeting has failed once again due to the absence of representatives from the 'My Step' faction. This further signifies that our country is experiencing a parliamentary crisis. This was stated by Iveta Tonoyan, a member of the 'Prosperous Armenia' faction, on her Facebook page.
"The representatives of the government have once again proven that they have only one sanctity: the mandate, salary, and position. They do not care that we have lost Artsakh, they do not care that shots ring out in Shushi... The important thing for them is to cling to their chairs..." she wrote.
Earlier, Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction, had stated on his Facebook page that the council meeting did not take place and that the absence from the meeting means that the 88 representatives of 'My Step' support the country remaining in this situation, with all the irreversible consequences that follow.
