CSTO Welcomes Establishment of Peace in Nagorno-Karabakh
The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) welcomes the cessation of military operations in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. This was stated by CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas during a conversation with journalists.
“We positively assess the cessation of military operations in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. This has become possible following the respective statements made on November 9 by the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia. We commend all actions that lead to the establishment of peace in the region and the cessation of bloodshed. The CSTO has repeatedly urged the conflicting parties to return to the ceasefire regime and to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict exclusively through peaceful negotiations,” he said.
