Absence from the Meeting Means That 88 Members of the 'My Step' Faction Want the Country to Remain in This State: Marukyan

Absence from the meeting on this agenda means that 88 members of the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly agree for the country to remain in this state, with all the irreversible consequences that follow. This was stated by Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction of the National Assembly, on his Facebook page.

“At 22:15, the National Assembly council meeting was again not held. Only Lena Nazaryan represented the 'My Step' alliance. We initiated the extraordinary session with the following agenda: discussion of the legality of the statement signed on November 9, 2020, by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, as well as the situation created and ways to overcome it,” he noted.

“Absence from the meeting means that 88 members of the 'My Step' faction are in favor of the country remaining in this situation, along with all its irreversible consequences. Don't later say that you didn't agree...”
