In total, a convoy consisting of 8 aircraft and dozens of vehicles has already delivered peacekeepers to Artsakh. It was previously announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev have jointly issued a statement regarding the cessation of military operations.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page that he made a difficult, exceedingly difficult decision for himself and everyone. He mentioned that he signed a statement with the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan to cease hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh war as of 01:00, emphasizing that this decision was based on a profound analysis of the military situation and the assessments of those best acquainted with it, relying on the conviction that this is the best possible resolution in the created circumstances.
Following Pashinyan's announcement, many people have moved towards Republic Square on foot and by vehicle, with a group storming the main building of the government and the Prime Minister's office, while another group headed towards Baghramyan Avenue and entered the National Assembly building. National Assembly President Ararat Mirzoyan was beaten and had to be taken to the hospital.
It is reminded that on the morning of September 27, Azerbaijan, with the support of Turkey, launched a large-scale military attack along the entire length of the Artsakh-Azerbaijan border. As of November 9 at 10:30, 1,221 military personnel have been killed from the Armenian side, with 50 civilian casualties and 148 injured.
