This Decision Was Made After Serious Analysis: Davit Tonoyan

This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Armenia, Davit Tonoyan, during an interview with Petros Ghazaryan on First Channel. The Minister noted that the government and the diaspora have done everything to ensure our success and that this decision was made after serious analysis.

“The armed forces, the Ministry of Defense, and the General Staff have regularly presented the operational situation to the country's leadership, and this decision was made as a result of a very serious analysis of the situation. The actions around Shushi were very dynamic. For instance, there was a moment when our press spokesperson presented a situation, and while he was describing it, the situation changed. The city was under siege, surrounded, but the heroic battle continued. For some periods, we had the upper hand,” stated Davit Tonoyan.
