The Photo Claiming to Show Shushi Residents Burning Their Homes Is Old

A photo of a burning house is circulating on Facebook with a caption claiming that Shushi residents are setting fire to their homes to prevent them from falling into enemy hands. Some users also assert that the burning house is located in the town of Karvachar.

The Information Verification Center reports that the circulated photo is old, dating back to 2012. According to the source, it was taken in the Murino community near St. Petersburg.
