Protesters Attempted to Assault Police Chief at Government Office Today
ArmLur.am has learned that a notable incident occurred at the government office today. A group of protesters entered the government building, cornered the Chief of Police Vahé Ghazaryan, and attempted to physically assault him.
The website reports that Ghazaryan explained to the protesters that he was feeling unwell and had heart issues. He was rescued from the assailants by two female members of parliament, Shake Isayan from the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and Iveta Tonoyan.
It is worth noting that some time ago, these same female members of parliament were being pulled by police officers right in front of the National Security Service building, the same officers who left the police chief alone today in the government office.
