Peskov Denies Reports of Turkish Troops Deploying in Artsakh
There is no mention of the deployment of Turkish troops in the text of the statement by the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia. According to Armenpress, this information was reported by RIA Novosti.
“There is not a single word about this in the text of the statement. There is no agreement on this matter. The presence of Turkish troops has not been coordinated. The discussion was about creating a monitoring center in Azerbaijani territory. This is in Azerbaijan, and it has been a subject of a separate agreement. This is not in Artsakh,” Peskov noted.
