Iran Welcomes Establishment of Ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia Mediated by Russia

The head of the Iranian president's office, Mahmoud Vaezi, has welcomed the establishment of a ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia, mediated by Russia.

“We are convinced that if the conflicting parties adhere to international laws, it will be possible to end this long-standing conflict through negotiations and political means. Expressing satisfaction regarding the end of the war, we hope that the agreement reached will bring the ceasefire to life,” Vaezi wrote on his Twitter page.
