I Am, Of Course, in Armenia and Fully Continuing My Work as Prime Minister of Armenia: Nikol Pashinyan

I am, of course, in Armenia and fully continuing my work as Prime Minister of Armenia. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page.

It should be noted that the Prime Minister announced the signing of a tripartite statement to cease hostilities in Artsakh.

“I have signed a statement with the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan on ceasing the Nagorno-Karabakh war starting from 01:00. The text of the statement, which has already been published, is painfully hard for me personally and for our people. This decision was made based on a profound analysis of the military situation and the assessments of those most knowledgeable about that situation. It is also based on the conviction that in the created circumstances, this is the best possible resolution. I will provide a detailed message about all this in the coming days.

This is not a victory, but there is no defeat as long as you do not recognize yourself as defeated. We will never recognize ourselves as defeated, and this must become the beginning of a national consolidation and a renaissance era for us. We must analyze our years of independence to plan our future and avoid repeating the mistakes of the past.

I bow before all our martyrs. I pay my respects to all the soldiers, officers, generals, and volunteers who have defended and continue to defend the homeland with their lives. They have saved the Artsakh Armenians with their selflessness. We fought until the end. And we will win. Artsakh stands strong. Long live Armenia! Long live Artsakh!”
