A statement has been published regarding the agreements reached between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
It is noted that an agreement has been reached for a complete ceasefire and cessation of all types of military operations in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone starting from November 10 at 01:00.
“The parties maintain their positions on the territories they occupy. Russian peacekeeping forces will be deployed along the contact line in Nagorno-Karabakh, towards the Lachin Corridor. Internally displaced persons (IDPs) and refugees will return to the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh and adjacent areas under the supervision of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. There will be an exchange of prisoners of war, other detainees, and the bodies of the deceased. All economic and transport links in the region will be unblocked. The control of transport communications will be carried out with the assistance of the Russian Border Service,” said Vladimir Putin.
The statement also mentions that the agreements reached will create the necessary conditions for a long-term and equitable resolution of the crisis surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, to the benefit of the peoples of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
