Ararat Mirzoyan Undergoes Surgery, Life Not in Danger

Ararat Mirzoyan, the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, has undergone surgery. This was reported by Rustam Bakoyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction, on his Facebook page.

'My friend, Ararat, may you have strength, brother. Thank God your life is not in danger,' wrote the parliament member.

Earlier, it was reported that a group of individuals gathered near the National Assembly assaulted Ararat Mirzoyan. A video was published online showing how they surrounded Mirzoyan's car, after which he was pulled out of the vehicle and beaten.
