You Are Lying: Bild Correspondent to Aliyev
The deputy editor-in-chief of the prominent German publication "Bild," Paul Ronzheimer, has reacted to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's statement claiming that media reports about targeting the civilian population of Stepanakert by Azerbaijan are misinformation.
Ronzheimer emphasized on his Twitter microblog that Aliyev is lying. The deputy editor of "Bild" shared a post from BBC correspondent Orla Guerin, who quoted Aliyev during an interview where he claimed that what the BBC correspondent saw with her own eyes was "fake news." Aliyev's words labeling the facts of Azerbaijani armed forces targeting the peaceful residents of Artsakh as "fake" have sparked a wave of criticism from international media representatives who witnessed the events firsthand.
Social media is flooded with posts discrediting Aliyev.
