Fighting Ongoing Towards Shushi City: Shushi Has Been and Will Remain Armenian, Says Artsakh Foreign Minister
The Foreign Minister of Artsakh, Masis Mayilyan, stated on his Facebook page, "Fighting is currently underway towards the city of Shushi in the Republic of Artsakh. Shushi has been and will remain Armenian. It is time to make a breakthrough."
Notably, his remarks followed the statement from the President's spokesperson indicating that Shushi has been completely taken out of the control of Armenian forces. In response, Artsakh President Araik Harutyunyan emphasized that the Defense Army and the volunteer forces are firmly standing on their homeland and will continue to fight against the enemy until the end.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also pointed out that the battles for Shushi are ongoing.
