Azerbaijanis Are Starting to Realize the Price They Pay for Aliyev's Prosperity: Yuri Kotenok
Russian national security expert, retired Colonel Alexander Zhilin commented on the situation in Artsakh for military correspondent Yuri Kotenok's Telegram channel.
“Representatives of the Turkish General Staff assured Aliyev that the capture of Artsakh by Azerbaijani-Turkish formations would happen within three days. The blitzkrieg did not succeed. Moreover, Armenians are fiercely defending themselves. And this is understandable—they are protecting their vital territory, for in case of defeat, they would be annihilated, just like the Russians in Donbas.
According to the laws of war, the losses of the attackers (Azerbaijan-soldiers-Turkey) and defenders (Karabakh-Armenia) are on average three to one. Concerned only with retaining his presidency, Aliyev did not expect this. The bodies of compatriots brought by “Black Tulip” and funeral teams to Baku create a horrific sea of grief for mothers, women, and orphans throughout the republic.
Ordinary Azerbaijanis, judging by the information from my friends in Baku, are beginning to understand that they are paying such a monstrous price for the prosperity of Ilham Aliyev and his wife’s clan,” said the Russian expert.
