Fighting Continues in Shushi, Says Mayor

Fighting continues in Shushi, with cleanup operations underway. This was stated by Shushi Mayor Arzvik Sargsyan in an interview with Azatutyun.

“The outskirts were bombed at night, where the enemy is located. Movement has been observed from the enemy side with their numerous pickup trucks, near the area of the Isayi spring, next to the gas pipelines. I personally saw that they were moving towards the Isayi spring, and they were neutralized there,” said Arzvik Sargsyan.

He added that fighting is still ongoing on the outskirts of Shushi. According to him, all Armenians are fighting for Shushi, which will remain Armenian and be rebuilt at lightning speed. Arzvik Sargsyan also noted that Shushi has faced similar attacks multiple times in its history and has risen again.
