Armenian Benefactors Ready to Restore the Dome of Shushi's Ghazanchetsots Church and Cultural Centers
The Minister of Education, Science and Culture of Artsakh has received numerous calls from benefactors in the diaspora who are willing to restore the dome of the Ghazanchetsots Church in Shushi, as well as other cultural centers damaged by enemy strikes. According to Armenpress, Minister Lusine Gharaqanyan disclosed this during today's press conference.
“Cultural institutions have been destroyed in Artsakh. The most extensive destruction occurred at the Shushi Cultural Center. I have already received many calls from our partners in the diaspora, benefactors who are ready to restore cultural centers, including the dome of the Ghazanchetsots Church in Shushi, as soon as possible. This is encouraging. We will do it; I have no doubt for even a minute,” said the minister.
She assured that all planned projects will be implemented, including the intention to open an engineering technopark in the Taghtar region of Hadrut. “All these projects mapped out by our ministry are unwavering, and our progress is unstoppable. What we have planned, we will achieve,” she stated. On October 8, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces had shelled the Ghazanchetsots Church in Shushi twice.
