Under Pressure from Armenian-Americans, Greenberg Traurig Cuts Ties with Turkish Government
The American Armenian National Committee has announced that the law and lobbying firm Greenberg Traurig has severed its ties with the Turkish government, a decision made under pressure from American Armenian activists.
According to the Armenian National Committee of America, the company sent an internal electronic memo this week stating that it had ceased its relations with Turkey as of October 29. The firm declined to comment on the matter. The Turkish embassy in Washington also did not respond to requests for comment.
