Arman Tatoyan Meets with Swedish Ambassador to Armenia

The Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, today met with the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Armenia, Patrick Svensson. During the meeting, Tatoyan presented evidence of the atrocities committed by the armed forces of Azerbaijan against the peaceful population of Armenia and Artsakh.

He provided factual accounts of the brutalities and heinous acts perpetrated against peaceful residents, including the use of banned cluster munitions and chemical agents, as well as the widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure.

Tatoyan emphasized that the indiscriminate attacks by Azerbaijan against the populations of Artsakh and Armenia continue to be accompanied by a significant level of hate speech directed at ethnic Armenians. This hatred manifests itself in atrocities and torture, reflecting a brutal attitude.

Furthermore, all of this is published on Azerbaijani social media for specific purposes, receiving public praise and encouragement for acts of violence against Armenians.

Participants in the meeting highlighted the importance of cooperation in the field of human rights protection and established new agreements for collaboration.
