Proposal to Increase Monthly Contribution to Soldiers' Insurance Fund from 1000 to 3000 Dram

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has proposed to increase the monthly contribution to the Soldiers' Insurance Fund from 1000 dram to 3000 dram. The relevant bill has already been submitted for discussion.

If the bill is adopted, the stamp duties paid to the fund will be raised from the current 1000 dram to 3000 dram monthly. Should the law be passed, it will come into effect on January 1, 2021.

It is worth noting that discussions on the proposal were initiated last week by the Government of Armenia and members of parliament.
