Ombudsman's Urgent Report on Azerbaijan's Attacks on Population in Syunik

Reports from residents of Davit Bek and Agarak communities to the Human Rights Defender, discussions with local administrations, and fact-finding activities in the villages have confirmed that attacks by Azerbaijan's armed forces pose a real threat to the safety of civilians. These attacks have resulted in severe violations of their lives, health, property, and other rights.

As noted in the report, the Azerbaijani armed assaults have damaged 38 residential houses, 2 barns, 20 large livestock, and 5 vehicles. Additionally, the village's gravesites have also been affected. One civilian has been killed, and two others have been injured, one of them seriously.

Civilian homes and infrastructure in Agarak village have sustained damage due to artillery strikes. Private vehicles and other property have also been harmed. Two civilians have suffered bodily injuries.
