Nine Criminal Cases Filed by Investigative Committee Regarding Weapon Transfer from Artsakh to Yerevan, Says Deputy Head
The Investigative Committee of Armenia has initiated nine criminal cases related to the transfer of weapons from Artsakh to Yerevan. This was stated by Arthur Melikyan, the deputy head of the Investigative Committee, during a conversation with journalists on November 4.
“As of yesterday, there were nine criminal cases, primarily related to reserve officers. There is no serious justification for bringing weapons,” Melikyan noted.
When asked what justification these individuals provide, the deputy head responded, “Believe me, there is no serious justification.” Melikyan also mentioned that munitions and firearms were discovered. He disclosed that there are defendants in this criminal case facing various measures of restraint.
