Maximum Efforts Will Be Made for the Educational Continuity of Artsakh Students: Deputy Minister of Education
The Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Arthur Martirosyan, received Hasmik Minasyan, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Culture of the Republic of Artsakh. During the meeting, they discussed issues related to organizing the educational continuity of students displaced from Artsakh due to the war.
Arthur Martirosyan addressed the violation of the right to education, which is currently being recorded as a result of the Azerbaijani-Turkish-terrorist aggression unleashed against Artsakh and Armenia since September 27, targeting educational institutions alongside other civilian infrastructure.
Martirosyan noted that the ministry and higher educational institutions of Armenia are making every effort to ensure the continuity of education for Artsakh students. Currently, they are particularly focused on integrating Artsakh students into the educational process and adequately organizing upcoming mid-term examinations.
Hasmik Minasyan, in turn, presented the challenges faced by Artsakh universities in establishing contact with their students and rebooting the educational process due to the war and the pandemic, emphasizing the importance of the support provided by Armenian universities.
Both sides agreed to ensure a unified approach to existing issues while also demonstrating an individual approach to the problems faced by students.
